Setting Up Voicemail for the First Time74

  1. Press the Message key on your Aastra phone.
  2. Enter your extension number to initiate the First-time Setup Process. (Your extension number is the default password. You will change this password in step 5.)
  3. Set up your name. The name you designate here will be the same name callers will hear when they access the company directory.
  4. Set up your greetings.
  5. Change your password. (If you leave your password as your extension, whenever you access your voicemail in the future you will initiate the First-time Setup Process again.)

 

Checking Voicemail from Your CTC-Connect Phone

  1. Press the Message key on your phone.
  2. Enter your password followed by the pound sign (#).
  3.  Follow the voicemail prompts on your phone. (Listed in table below.)

 

Checking Your CTC-Connect Voicemail Remotely

  1. Dial (217) XXX-XXXX (your system main number or remote access number), then follow the auto attendant voice prompt  to check voicemail.
  2. Press (#) and enter your extension number.
  3. Enter your password followed by the pound sign (#).
  4.   Follow the voicemail prompts on your phone. (Listed in table below.)
