Voicemail Instructions
Setting Up Voicemail for the First Time
- Press the Message key on your Aastra phone.
- Enter your extension number to initiate the First-time Setup Process. (Your extension number is the default password. You will change this password in step 5.)
- Set up your name. The name you designate here will be the same name callers will hear when they access the company directory.
- Set up your greetings.
- Change your password. (If you leave your password as your extension, whenever you access your voicemail in the future you will initiate the First-time Setup Process again.)
Checking Voicemail from Your CTC-Connect Phone
- Press the Message key on your phone.
- Enter your password followed by the pound sign (#).
- Follow the voicemail prompts on your phone. (Listed in table below.)
Checking Your CTC-Connect Voicemail Remotely
- Dial (217) XXX-XXXX (your system main number or remote access number), then follow the auto attendant voice prompt to check voicemail.
- Press (#) and enter your extension number.
- Enter your password followed by the pound sign (#).
- Follow the voicemail prompts on your phone. (Listed in table below.)
